February is National Children's Dental Health Month, a month dedicated to promoting and raising awareness about oral health for children. The effect of early childhood dental health have been shown to decrease the risk of disease in later years of life. Poor dental habits exhibited in early childhood often continue into adulthood, with potential to affect speech, nutrition, economic productivity, and even the overall quality of life. Therefore, good oral health must start in the early years of our children's lives.
Dr. Constantin and Dr. Stark want you to remember that developing goof habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits help children get a good start of a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. Has your child visited our office in the past six months? If not, it is time to give us a call and schedule an appointment. Call us today at 612-824-4211.
